Booking Terms
When you book services through Fareo, you authorize us or a third-party provider to act as your agent in the booking process with the selected travel provider. We will process your payment and issue your ticket according to the product you select. The amount charged will be confirmed before your booking is finalized.
Travel Provider includes airlines, online travel agencies, car rental companies, cruise lines, hotels, and other travel service providers.
You must provide complete and accurate information. If information is inaccurate or if a third party's credit card is used, we may request additional verification.
We are not responsible for changes or cancellations made by travel providers. If issues arise with your booking, please notify us immediately so we can work to resolve them.
You agree that Fareo may contact you via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or phone regarding important updates related to your booking.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Fareo website, including design, features, and functionality, belongs to Fareo and its partners. The website is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use any trademarks, brand names, or symbols without permission.
Our service may include links to third-party websites. These links are provided for reference only. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content.
Ticketing Policy
After booking, you will receive an Order Confirmation email at the address you provided. This confirms your order and includes passenger information, travel details, and price summary.
The Order Confirmation is proof that your order was received and is being processed. It is not an electronic ticket or boarding guarantee. Once payment is complete and your booking is confirmed, you will receive a separate email with your e-ticket receipt.
Cancellation and change policies depend on the airline's pricing rules. Some airlines allow free cancellation within 24 hours of ticket issuance. To cancel, call Customer Care at +1 (877) 713-0677.
Most airlines do not allow passenger name changes. Any changes must follow airline policies and may result in significant fees.
Changes or cancellations due to personal circumstances will incur our processing fees in addition to airline charges.
Partial refunds may be available for cancellations, subject to airline terms and our processing fees.
Processing fees are shown in USD and may be converted to your local currency.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank's policies.
No-show passengers are not eligible for refunds, though tax refunds may be available depending on airline terms.
Baggage Allowance
Baggage allowance is shown on your order confirmation and e-ticket receipt.
Check with the airline for current baggage policies, including limits on number, size, and weight.
Some airlines offer lower fares without baggage included. Review your order confirmation to verify if baggage is included.
Airlines may change baggage policies and fees at any time. Fareo does not set or control these fees. You may be charged extra for overweight, oversized, or additional bags beyond the airline's allowance.
Payment
When booking through Fareo, you must provide accurate credit or debit card information. By doing so, you authorize Fareo or a third-party provider to charge your card for the full cost of your travel services, which may include multiple charges such as "Fares" and "Taxes and Fees."
If payment issues occur, we will notify you. We are not responsible for price increases due to payment problems. Any price changes will be reviewed and agreed upon before booking confirmation.
Travel documents will not be issued until payment is complete. You will receive your booking confirmation and invoice via email.
Refunds and Cancellations
Voluntary Cancellation
If you need to cancel, you may receive a partial refund depending on your ticket policy.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled departure. Late cancellations or no-shows are not eligible for refunds.
Refund requests must be made during the ticket's validity period and only if fare rules permit. Some discounted fares are non-refundable.
For partially used tickets, refunds depend on the unused portion, subject to airline approval.
If your ticket is not eligible for cash refund, we may offer alternatives such as e-credit or ticket exchange, depending on fare rules.
Schedule Changes and Involuntary Cancellation
If the airline cancels or changes your flight, you may choose from available alternatives. We will notify you of major changes as soon as possible. We are not responsible for costs resulting from airline changes.
You may accept a new travel schedule or request a refund based on ticket rules. If eligible for a refund, we will charge a processing fee plus any non-refundable costs.
Applicable Fees
Refund eligibility depends on fare rules and airline terms. Administrative fees or penalties may apply.
Our customer service handles cancellation, change, and refund requests. A $150 processing fee applies per ticket when using our service center, social media, or other channels.
If you purchased a support package, processing fees depend on the package type.
Administrative fees and support packages are non-refundable. Airline penalties and cancellation charges cannot be refunded and will be deducted from your refund.
Refund Processing Time
Refunds are typically returned to the original payment method. We process eligible refunds within 20 business days for credit or debit card payments, excluding bank processing time.
Credit Card Chargebacks
Before disputing charges with your credit card company, please contact customer service and the travel provider first. We reserve the right to cancel any booking associated with a chargeback.
By using Fareo, you agree to the travel provider's cancellation policy and waive the right to chargebacks in the following situations:
- Non-refundable bookings where refunds are not available
- Unused services when no refund is warranted (e.g., no-shows)
- Violations of these terms or cancellation/refund policies
- Unauthorized use of your credit card by a third party
- Services that met the stated description but did not meet expectations
- Issues related to travel advisories or COVID-19
- Force majeure or uncontrollable events
Force Majeure
Force majeure refers to events beyond our control. We are not liable for failure to perform obligations when caused by such events, including natural disasters, acts of God, or other unpredictable circumstances.
Examples include:
- Strikes, lock-outs, or labor disputes
- Civil unrest, riots, terrorist threats, or war
- Natural disasters (fire, storms, floods, earthquakes, pandemics)
- Transportation unavailability
- Utility service interruptions
- Government actions, laws, or regulations
We will make reasonable efforts to minimize delays and fulfill our obligations despite force majeure events.
If your reservation is canceled before departure due to force majeure, you may lose the ticket value and not be eligible for refund, rebooking, or rerouting. Pending refunds may take longer to process during such events.
Limitation of Liability
All information on our website is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy or completeness. We do not guarantee timeliness, accuracy, or availability unless required by law.
Fareo, including its officers, directors, employees, representatives, affiliates, vendors, and agents, will not be liable for any damages, losses, claims, or injuries of any kind arising from our services, including:
- Loss of goodwill, profits, business interruption, or data
- Use or inability to use the website or services
- Unauthorized access to personal data
- Errors or inaccuracies on the website
- Damage from viruses or loss of data
Our total liability will not exceed the total charges for the travel that caused the liability. Claims must be filed within 180 days of completing the purchase.
Travel providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Fareo. We are not liable for their actions, errors, or negligence, nor for any injury, death, or property damage caused by them.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fareo and its affiliates from any third-party claims, lawsuits, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of Fareo
- Your violation of laws or third-party rights
- Your breach of these Terms of Use
Dispute Resolution
If you and Reservation Center LLC cannot resolve a claim or dispute, it will be settled through binding arbitration by an independent third party, not a judge or jury. Courts have limited power to review arbitration decisions.
No claim or dispute may be brought as a class action.
Arbitration Agreement
First, contact customer service to resolve issues. If that fails, either party may initiate binding arbitration.
Arbitration decisions are final and enforceable. The arbitrator will decide all claims and disputes, including jurisdiction questions.
The Federal Arbitration Act governs this agreement. The American Arbitration Association will administer arbitration. Arbitration will take place in Dallas County, Texas. Reservation Center LLC will pay arbitration costs for non-frivolous claims, but each party pays their own legal fees.
Class Action Waiver
Neither party may join or consolidate claims with others. Any dispute must be settled through individual arbitration, not class action.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Subject to the arbitration agreement, any legal proceedings will take place in the state and federal courts of Dallas County, Texas.
Travel Requirements
Requirements vary based on destination. Check with the relevant embassy or government department for current requirements, which may include:
- REAL ID-compliant identification or valid passport
- Visa (if required)
- COVID-19 test results (if required)
We are not responsible if you are denied boarding or entry due to missing documentation or failure to meet requirements.
